Site IT Coordinator (m/f/d)
About the role:
As a Site IT Coordinator, you will be the primary IT contact for our Frankfurt office and EMEA Homebased users, ensuring that employees receive reliable, high-quality IT support every day. You are part of our global IT Infrastructure organization, providing desktop, workplace, and application support while working closely with infrastructure specialists, application teams, and external vendors. While your primary focus will be supporting users in Frankfurt, you'll also collaborate with colleagues across the regions and provide support to other sites whenever needed. In addition to resolving technical issues, you'll help improve IT processes and contribute to regional IT initiatives and projects.
What you will do:
- Serve as the primary IT contact for users at our Frankfurt site, providing first- and second-level support via phone, email, walk-ins, and remote support tools.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, Microsoft 365, Windows, networking, VPN, mobile devices, and collaboration tools.
- Manage and prioritize incidents and service requests using IT Ticket tool “ServiceNow” while meeting agreed service levels.
- Coordinate with infrastructure, network, server, and application teams to resolve more complex technical issues.
- Maintain IT assets, hardware inventories, software licenses, and CMDB information.
- Coordinate hardware replacements and support device lifecycle management.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, knowledge articles, and troubleshooting guides.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term solutions for recurring issues.
- Support user administration activities within established joiner, mover, and leaver processes.
- Create and maintain simple automation scripts (PowerShell or similar) to improve operational efficiency.
- Support local and regional IT projects, including office moves, hardware refreshes, software deployments, and security initiatives.
- Work closely with external vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Support users at other regional sites whenever required, working closely with fellow Site IT Coordinators to ensure consistent service across the regions.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing within the regional IT team.
What you will bring:
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, workplace technology, or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, endpoint management, and workplace technologies.
- Experience supporting hardware, software, printers, mobile devices, and collaboration platforms.
- Understanding of Active Directory, user administration, IT asset management, and IT service management processes.
- Experience working with IT ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
- Good analytical and troubleshooting skills with a structured approach to problem solving.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Fluent English is mandatory as this is our corporate language.
Nice to have:
- ITIL Foundation certification.
- Microsoft 365 or Endpoint Administrator certification.
- Experience with PowerShell or other scripting languages.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or industrial environments.
- German language skills are considered a plus.
