Job Title: Product Manager (m/f/d) ABS   
Location: Rolle (Switzerland) 

 

About the Role

As Product Manager ABS EMEA, you will be responsible for driving the commercial success and strategic development of the Terluran and Lustran mABS product portfolios in your region. Working closely with Sales, Market Development, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D, Procurement, and regional business teams, you will manage pricing, product strategy, profitability, and portfolio optimization to achieve ambitious growth, market share and EBITDA targets. This highly visible role combines strategic thinking with hands-on business management and offers the opportunity to shape the future of key ABS product lines in a dynamic international environment. You will act as the commercial focal point for your product portfolio and play a key role in supporting INEOS Styrolution's growth and sustainability ambitions.

 

The Position

  • Own the profitability and business performance of the Terluran and Lustran mABS product lines across EMEA.
  • Develop and execute product line strategies aligned with business objectives and market opportunities.
  • Manage pricing dynamics and approvals and give commercial guidelines to maximize value creation while growing our market share.
  • Monitor market developments, industry trends, feedstock movements, and competitive activities to identify opportunities and risks.
  • Lead product portfolio optimization initiatives to improve asset utilization, operational efficiency, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain and Manufacturing teams to ensure accurate forecasting, inventory management, and production planning.
  • Drive business development initiatives, including new product introductions and market expansion opportunities.
  • Build robust business cases for investments, capacity improvements, and strategic growth projects.
  • Partner closely with Sales teams to support customer negotiations, product positioning, and commercial decision-making.
  • Act as the key commercial and strategic expert for the product lines, supporting cross-functional and interregional collaboration.

 

Your Profile

  • University degree in Business Administration, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the chemical, plastics, or polymer industry.
  • Proven experience in product management, manufacturing, production planning, business management, or a comparable market-facing role.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance strategic priorities and operational execution.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a data-driven approach with a practical mindset and quick decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in pricing, profitability management, and business case development.
  • Strong project management capabilities with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI and data analysis tools; SAP and Power BI knowledge are advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in an international environment.
  • Fluent English language skills
