Role and purpose:

This position is for supervising the movement, distribution and storage of goods and material in the company to ensure the right products are delivered to the right location on time and at an optimal cost.

To ensure the above requirement achieved smoothly, this role is responsible for:

  • RM receipt and distribute to Production.
  • Finished Production/Goods put-away, distribute and physicals count.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance to maintain and repair all the machines and device of Warehouse.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Production and Purchasing to finish the month/year-ending.
  • Supervisor’s back-up, back up each other with other Logistics Specialist, except for customer declaration.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

SHE compliance oversight

Enforce safety standards and ensure zero-incident logistics operations in compliance with group and local regulations.

Warehouse operations management

Supervise end-to-end warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and outbound shipments.

Ensure timely inspection and maintenance of all equipment, maintaining 100% compliance with SGGN & IGGN standards and achieving over 95% utilization.

Logistics Management

Respond promptly to urgent logistics requests, ensuring zero complaints from internal and external stakeholders. Accurately manage inbound and outbound stock movements and maintain real-time inventory records.

Inventory optimization

Optimize warehouse space and stock turnover. Monitor the expiry date of raw materials push the aging stock, OG & Scrap to sale.

Supervise Subcontractors

Direct the forklift drivers and the warehouse operators under compliance guidelines.

 

What do you need to succeed:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years in supply chain, purchasing, customs, or logistics operations.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse/transport regulations.
  • Familiarity with logistics regulations and industry best practices.
  • Understanding of contract law and customs compliance.
  • Strong interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.
  • SAP or other major ERP experience preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office tools (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in English (speaking, listening, reading, writing); local language required; second foreign language preferred.
