Role and purpose:
Process improvement to ensure efficient and productive operations and timely achievement of Operation Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets in line with Process Manager’s guidance and team objectives.
1. Support for Incident free operations, adherence to INEOS Styrolution SHE guidelines, and Compliance with local regulations.
• Behavior Based Safety Observation and near-miss program compliance.
• Safety culture promotion and drive for incident free operation.
• SHE KPIs and Targets achieved.
• Asset Care program participation.
• INEOS Group Guidance Notes (IGGNs), INSTY Guidelines & Life Saving Rule compliance.
• Management of Change procedure compliance.
• Site lead PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) process.
• Safety audit participation such as PSM, BS10, PS10, etc.
2. Process Management
• Monitor utility and CCA (Chemical Compound Additives) consumption.
• Manage process operation historical data, technical data book and P&IDs.
• Manage MOC records and Process Safety Information documents.
• Manage PI (Plant Information) system to monitor process condition.
• Lead RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for process upset and equipment trouble.
• TBE (Technical Bid Evaluation) for equipment or subsidiary materials.
• Coordinate energy survey by external agency every 5 years.
• Site contact feedstock and utility suppliers.
• PR (Purchase Requisition) and GR (Goods Receipt) for feedstock and utilities.
• Site lead for energy saving activities and manufacturing cost reduction.
3. Process development and improvement
• Apply new process technology.
• DoE (Design of Experiment) owner for trial runs on applying new recipe or materials.
• Site contact of group R&D and technology.
• Site lead GEE (Global Experience Exchange) meetings and bench marking study.
4. Plant performance report
• Monthly Operations KPI & TCR and Month end Report (Production, Utility & CCA).
What do you need to succeed:
Level of education & Experience in general:
• More than 5-year experience as a process or production engineer in petrochemical industry.
• Bachelor or master degree in chemical engineering
• Good speaking and writing English.
• Good knowledge and understanding of chemical process / engineering / equipment technology.
• Experience in instrumental analysis (preferred).
Technical skills:
• RCA (Root Cause Analysis), PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) _HAZOP / LOPA, KOSHA Guide and ISO.
• PIMS (Process Information Monitoring System), Engineering tools and SAP.
• Proficient MS office
